During year 2 we will tackle developing basic skills in reading. Reading is a basic skill that is essential for our pupils to learn to live and work effectively in the 21st century. We will work with our pupils to develop their enjoyment of reading by looking at social and cultural stories from across Europe so that they can see and help them understand the power of books to open their minds to the world.
